very comfortable hotel in a good location. Easy to find when driving and free car parking around hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, many speak English (sorry, my Turkish is poor!), hotel is so quiet on higher floors, we had a great sleep. It’s a large hotel so there is a huge breakfast. There were many guests which surprised me as rooms are so quiet. All kinds of fresh and cooked foods in buffet style and a lovely lady making traditional hot breads in the dining room. Hotel also loaned us umbrellas as it was pouring!. It also has a sauna and small gym. Very comfy beds and big hot shower. Konya and this hotel are an excellent half way stop when driving between Antalya and Goreme as we did. ( if you’re thinking of hiring a car in Turkey, do it, great roads, not much traffic on highways, easy driving , We recommend!) Also recommend this lovely hotel

We usually stay in smaller and more local B&B’s, but they were hard to find in Konya. So we ended up staying in the Bera Hotel. It’s an slightly older hotel, but the facilities and the tidiness were nevertheless very good! The beds are one of the best we slept in during our trip through Turkey. Breakfast is served in a buffet with so many different options. There’s even a lady baking fresh lavash bread, stuffed with spinach, potatoes or cheese. It’s located a bit outside’s the heart of the city, about 15 minutes walk to Alladin Hill and 30 minutes of walking to Mevlana square. You can always take a tram back home to Alladin station and walk the last bit.

The hotel was a short walk from Belediye tram stop and Kulture Park. Trams go from here to the Kule shopping mall and the Mevlana Cultural Centre. A modern, clean hotel it provided a buffet breakfast with some hot items and eggs to order. The restaurant was closed in the evening so we walked to a pedestrian area some 10 minutes away. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The trams were convenient for the Mevlana Museum, and at the next stop for IRFA Centre and the Mevlana Cultural Centre. Yellow taxi to the airport in 30 minutes cost 670 lira August 2024.

Breakfast is buffet style and very good indeed. A buffet dinner is also available, which is both handy and very good value. I had a very comfortable bed and lots of space. I loved having a bath (not always easy to get with single accomodation), and I appreciated the choice of channels on the TV. Although I am not a smoker, I accepted a smoking room in order to get a bath rather than a shower. Useful for smokers to know that you can still smoke in this hotel. No alcohol in the restaurant though!! Enjoyed going up to the roof for the great view.

Very big rooms, very clean on arrival. Inroom restaurant service is very quick and food is great one of the best hotel foods ive stayed in and at an ideal price. The staffs were polite and helped all my queries to make my stay enjoyeable. My room was upgraded to a suit room on the 4th floor on arrival. Genuinely happy with the service. Purpose of visit? To visit shrine of Rumi. Only located about 15 mins by car. Food and shops surround hotel making an easy stay.
